MSM (Methylsulphonylmethane) is a high quality, bioavailable form of organic sulphur, which is found naturally in fresh forage, but is largely lost by processing feed and the drying process of preserved forage (hay and haylage). This means that many stabled competition horses and ponies may not receive enough of this essential nutrient.

Sulphur plays many important roles in the horse’s body. It is a vital component of some amino acids and certain vitamins, and crucially, sulphur also plays a very important role in the production of collagen – a key component of connective tissue (ligaments and tendons) and cartilage – the “shock absorbing” layer in joints. All these specialised tissues are made from proteins, bonded by flexible sulphur compounds, which gives these important structures their vital elasticity.

Equine America MSM Powder is produced from the highest quality MSM, from NOPS and UFAS accredited suppliers and is available in 500g and 1 kg pots.

Feeding Directions: For a 500kg horse; for initial 10 days: 20g per day. Thereafter, 7-10g per day. 10g (approx) measure enclosed. Do not exceed 20g per day unless under professional advice.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders received before 2pm the same working day (with the exception of some items that clearly show a delayed dispatch notice on the product image).

The order may also be delivered to your place of work or left in a safe place at the chosen delivery address (safe place does not require a signature but is left at the customers own risk). Please be aware all Express Courier orders require a signature (or a photograph) upon delivery, unless requested otherwise. Delivery charges are calculated on the delivery weight that we assign to a product. This may differ from the actual weight of the product, for example, in instances where the bulky nature of the product means increased postage costs apply. If there is no one in to sign for the delivery and a safe place has not been selected an automatic re-delivery will be attempted the next working day. If for a second time the delivery has not been signed for and if no attempt is made to re-arrange delivery, the order will returned to us.

Returns

To receive a full refund the goods must be returned to us in new and resaleable condition, with tags still attached (if applicable) and in the original manufacturers packaging (if applicable).
