Barrie Red Mite Powder is an effective repellent to be applied to poultry as a proactive ‘0n bird’ deterrent to infestation or to rectify an existing problem.
Suitable for use in Organic Farming Systems: Red Mite Powder contains only pure and natural ingredients. Red Mite Powder was developed for use in intensive rearing, breeding and egg laying units and is also suitable for use in organic farming systems, as it falls into the exempt category of products which use only plant oils as active ingredients, as listed in Annexe IIB (Pesticides) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91 (as amended).

Best time to apply : The best time to treat the birds is during the evening, because Red Mite are nocturnal and so feed on the birds as they roost at night. Apply in accordance with the directions for use, directly onto the birds.
Directions for use - Powder application: Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.

Red mite is a nocturnal creature so it’s best to dust the birds before lights out.
Dim the lights as low as practically possible to avoid any undue agitation amongst the birds.

The powder can be dusted onto the birds and added to the dust bath.
Do not apply to birds & poultry under 7 days old and apply sparingly to small birds.
Thoroughly dust the birds with the Red Mite Powder, avoiding the eyes. Repeat application as necessary dependant upon infestation and until you are on top of the problem.

Don’t forget that red mite can live away from the bird for up to 36 weeks. Red Mite Powder can be used on other blood sucking pests such as Lice, Fleas and Ticks.

Delivery

We aim to dispatch all orders received before 2pm the same working day (with the exception of some items that clearly show a delayed dispatch notice on the product image).

The order may also be delivered to your place of work or left in a safe place at the chosen delivery address (safe place does not require a signature but is left at the customers own risk). Please be aware all Express Courier orders require a signature (or a photograph) upon delivery, unless requested otherwise. Delivery charges are calculated on the delivery weight that we assign to a product. This may differ from the actual weight of the product, for example, in instances where the bulky nature of the product means increased postage costs apply. If there is no one in to sign for the delivery and a safe place has not been selected an automatic re-delivery will be attempted the next working day. If for a second time the delivery has not been signed for and if no attempt is made to re-arrange delivery, the order will returned to us.

Returns

To receive a full refund the goods must be returned to us in new and resaleable condition, with tags still attached (if applicable) and in the original manufacturers packaging (if applicable).
