Hotmax Fuel Logs came about as a by-product of the horse bedding industry (through the manufacture of BedMax) where the extracted dust from the horse bedding was recycled into heat logs. Hotmax heat logs are therefore 100% natural, recycled softwood dust. They're very easy to light and they give you very high heat very quickly with very low emissions and low ash residue.
