... what happens after your order is dispatched?
If you selected DPD delivery, tracking information will be automatically sent to you via email and/or text message depending on whether you provided an email address and/or mobile number. You will receive this tracking information, including a one-hour timeslot, on the morning of your delivery (usually by 11am).
All DPD orders require a signature (a photograph during the COVID-19 social distancing times) on delivery unless you have specified a safe place (at your own risk) where your parcel can be left. If you won't be available to take delivery, please follow the link on the tracking email to either arrange a different delivery day, have the parcel left in a safe place (at your own risk), have the parcel left with a neighbour or arrange to collect the parcel from a local pick up location.
If there is no one in to take delivery and a safe place has not been selected, your parcel may be dropped off a local DPD Pick-Up Shop and you will need to collect it from there. If a DPD Pick-Up Shop is not available, a re-delivery will be usually be attempted the next working day. If your parcel cannot be delivered or is not collected from a Pick-Up Shop, it may be returned to us. If the order is returned to us, we will incur a return delivery charge and we reserve the right to deducted this from any refund due to you.
